Established in the Algés area, 1km away from Torre de Belém, the Orient gains expression through the most exclusive Japanese restaurant in Lisbon, Kanazawa. A space with no decoration, typical of Japanese minimalism, with only eight seats at the counter. The dishes are meticulously prepared and explained by Chef Paulo Morais in an experience that respects strict Japanese concepts and the ritual side of the meals.
The menu follows the ritual of Kaiseki cuisine, rigorous in service, presentation and dishes. This ritual consists of moments with a specific order and respecting the seasonality of the ingredients. You can enjoy four different menus, between €60-150, for dinner. The Oyama menu is vegetarian. Lunch only has three options: pasta, sushi and shokado bento. On Friday and Saturday afternoons, the space becomes a Japanese tea room with menus that include tea and five typical sweets, which you can take home.
