Located in Poço dos Negros, a place that has been reborn due to the opening of new projects, Santelmo is a restaurant that makes an ode to Portuguese customs. This way, it is especially appealing to tourists, as they find in a single space various elements of Portuguese culture, from the decoration of tiles, the starters of cheeses and cold meats, the representation of different Portuguese regions, and traditional desserts.
The fixed menu is careful, with vegetarian options, where you can find Bochechas de Porco or Polvo à Lagareiro. However, the restaurant also works with affordable daily menus. Therefore, we advise you to book in advance or opt for lunch.
Recently, the space has joined the project Sopa para Todos which consists of paid soup, where the participants leave or take their soup. Open from Monday to Saturday. It has reservations and take-away.
