Located in Rua Santo António à Estrela, Cristina Guerra Gallery brings contemporary art to life in Lisbon. Cristina's father was a collector, and the gallery owner is one of the major veterans in the art business, representing Portuguese and foreign artists nowadays. She supports many artworks by artists, successfully promoting them in museums and institutions across borders, with attention to communication to her visiting audience. Expect it to be always up to date!
The gallery has an organized and demanding schedule, with 8-9 exhibitions a year determined the year before. Sporadically, the gallery hosts book launches and other events. It also organizes exhibitions and works as an exchange platform.
It focuses predominantly on the conceptual works of 25 artists, namely Filipa César, João Onofre and Julião Sarmento. In addition, it is present at art fairs with high recognition, such as Art Basel, ARCO Madrid and Loop Barcelona.
