With Parque Eduardo VII as its neighbour, Saraiva's won for two consecutive years, in 2020 and 2021, the Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide for the best restaurant and the best quality/price ratio. How? The difference lies in the details that combine modernity with the traditional, either in the decoration in tiles and artworks by Bordallo Pinheiro or in the representative menu of Portuguese cuisine with a gourmet twist from European regions.
In addition to the charming menu, the Swedish-inspired brunch stands out. There are three moments on the menu: a cold starter and two hot dishes accompanied by juice, cocktails, or coffee. Ovos Rotos, Tosta de Almôndegas, Salmão Curado stand out.
This restaurant is an excellent option for a family Saturday program in an adult or children's version, at €15 and €6, respectively. There is a picnic version available, too. Open Tuesday through Saturday. Reservations and take-away accepted.
