Located in Campo Grande and inserted in the Hippodrome, Jockey is a unique restaurant, nice and quiet, where we can find the good traditional Portuguese cuisine. With an equestrian atmosphere, the space is characterized by its rustic and picturesque features. The entire restaurant and the small English pub with a fireplace are decorated with typical motives of the history of Portuguese Equestrian Society, some of them with centuries of history to tell.
In addition to the privileged view to the green of the proving fields and a pleasant terrace, the restaurant has an additional space with capacity for 70 people, making it the versatile place. It is ideal both for dinners and group meetings, as well as for a quiet and pleasant meal or good gin after work.
With a menu especially rich in fish dishes, we can highlight the Cod with seafood, the Hila Real Cod, the Seafood Rice or the Seafood Cataplana, in addition to all the fresh fish ready for grilling. In steaks, we recommend the Jockey Steak, the Sirloin Steak with devil sauce, or the Loin Loaves to Wellington, among other dishes. Starters, desserts and a diverse wine list complement a special and refined menu. The average price per person is €30, with dishes of the day during the week and several group menus.
