Located next to the Botanical Garden and founded in 1980, Os Tibetanos is a vegetarian restaurant that reflects in all its splendor the Tibetan vibrancy and culture. Located on the ground floor and garden, it was the first vegetarian restaurant in Lisbon. The space is cozy, and in the decoration predominates the objects coming from Tibet, highlighting the elements Water, Earth, Fire and Air.
With a varied and tasty menu, Os Tibetanos restaurant has a menu dominated by the natural meals of vegetarian cuisine with influences from all over the world. From the Himalayas to India, from Japan to Brazil and Africa, never forgetting the Portuguese seasoning like garlic, coriander and olive oil, the dishes are a delicious meeting point of various flavors, providing a true gastronomic trip.
Some of its specialties are Mango Curry, tofu steak with goat cheese and pesto or the traditional Seitan Mômos or Spinach and cheese, with an average price per person of €18. To accompany there are natural juices, lassis of fruit and a varied wine list. As dessert, not to miss the Roses Ice Cream, the Belgian Chocolate Pie and cream of chestnut or the Tart of papaya and curd.
